A significant innovation from Franke’s fully automated coffeemakers, achieved through a collaboration with Diener Precision Pumps, is their ability to produce the perfect coffee milk foam. Specifically, Diener’s Optima Series precision gear pump has played a crucial role in perfecting this feature.

Back in 2008, Franke Coffee Systems embarked on a mission to incorporate a feature in their coffeemakers for cold milk foam production. It quickly became apparent that achieving the desired texture and quality required a highly reliable and precise gear pump. This led to a partnership with Diener Precision Pumps, whose expertise in pump manufacturing provided the ideal solution. Diener produces a variety of custom gear pump and metering pump models for many different applications among which food and beverage handling is just one.

The joint effort between Franke Coffee Systems and Diener resulted in the development of the first fully automatic coffeemaker capable of producing cold milk foam. Launched at HOST 2009, the innovation also featured an integrated flavor system using syrups, garnering enthusiastic reviews from coffee experts worldwide.
